Orlando Bulls

The game between the Bulls and the Crusaders brought the notorious Blou Bulle supporters into the heart of Soweto. The neutral ground of sport brought together two cultures most people would've thought would never see eye to eye... try eating, drinking and sitting on camp chairs in the backyards of Soweto together! Something's brewing and it's not just the beer! I love this country and I love the fact that we're able to be apart of it.

Stormers vs Bulls in Soweto this weekend again, holding my horns to go!
Hopefully have some of my own photo's then...

beautiful contradiction

We don't understand. Life doesn't make sense. But somehow it's truly beautiful.

In Surrender

It happens in my life, when God stirs the visuals and words flow, and exchanges of thought and grace fill the spaces between myself and people around me. The topic of "Surrender" keeps coming up and disrupts the reality I'm comfortable in. The surrender I'm getting to know is a picture of 'letting go' that doesn't fit into my plans and idea's. In fact it messes them up completely. It's called absolute surrender.

In this season of allowing God to lead, the book 'Absolute Surrender' by Andrew Murray was given as a gift. Read it, really comes recommended.
An old time classic that remains relevant and powerful even more than 100 years later.
