The countdown fever!

These are 3 pictures from a amazing photo album on the web, depicting the nation leading up to the World Cup. They are beautiful photo's and give an amazing portrayal of the colour celebration and energy that is filling every space, road and thought in our nation at the moment! Make sure you have a look at the whole album here:

While I'm typing this blog I can hardly contain my excitement. The past week has reached a climax in terms of soccer fever! We knew this was going to be big, but I think the HUGEness of it all has finally hit home! (excuse the pun)

I don't think 5 minutes pass without hearing a vuvzela being blown, everyone is secretly doing the disci dance while they walk, and the effect of hooting in the street is awesome - one hoot and you have 100% guarentee of vuvzela's being blow, waves and a hand full of new friends!

And best of all it hasn't even officially started yet! I can't wait for tomorrow's opening ceremony. Planning on watching the opening in a shebeen in Soweto. Will keep you updated with photo's and stories!

It's here. Can you feel it!?
It's time for Africa.
