A Rest Reminder

I didn't journal much while on holiday in Boracay, Philippines. It was good to rest from writing for a while too, and just observe. But when I did journal the entries were thoughts from a place of spontaneous reflection and rest.

I treasure these pages and reflections because back in reality - craziness of work, people, appointments and the day to day rush - glancing over these thoughts remind me of the rest and perspective I find in God. He was with me on the island, in the water, in the plane back, in my work and now every minute of the day. Palm trees and blue waters are carried within me :)
